Dustin Meier is a Ph.D. candidate in History at Ohio State University. He specializes in the urban and environmental history of the United States. Dustin received a bachelor's degree from Ohio State University and a master’s degree from the University of Cincinnati. His dissertation explores the evolution of summer camping programs directed by settlement houses from the early twentieth century through the 1980s. Dustin’s research interests include the intersection of race and the natural environment, the history of professional social work, and environmental justice.
